SPECIAL NOTICE TO ALL SJIS ALUMNI AND FRIENDS:

HERE'S YOUR LAST CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN
OUR ARCHIVE PROJECT BY MAKING A CONTRIBUTION,
IF YOU HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO SHOW
YOUR LOVE TOWARD YOUR ALMA MATER!

As some of you may have heard the good news from our parent Alumni
Association in Japan, it is finally embarking on a plan to digitize the
"Forward" yearbooks, from year 1922 to 2000 under the leadership
of our newly elected president, Boon Oyama (class of '66) and other
new officers.

In order to help defray part of its cost, the U.S.A. Chapter has been
carrying out a vigorous campaign to raise funds since 2003. We are
pleased to inform you that thanks to many generous supporters (so far
approx. 45, including some St.Maur's alums), we are almost achieving
our goal.

If you have not had a chance to make your contribution as yet, we urge you
to make a contribution to this Archive Fund no later than October 15 October 31, 2005
which is the deadline of our fund-raising drive. We'll be handing over the
total proceeds to our parent Alumni Association in Japan in November with
a list of all donors.
